Who We Are
Who We Are
The Dizz Wizz Series was established in December 2, 2020. The first publication of the series, Dizz Wizz Speaking It Into Existence, was on July 7, 2020, with a second publication, Dizz Wizz Hungry Charlie, on December 16, 2020.
The Dizz Wizz Series is focused on assisting children with developing the appropriate social-emotional learning skills to become a well-rounded and successful individual. Each publication has a life lesson that readers could utilize in their everyday lives.
The series also provides professional development on a variety of topics, including social-emotional learning, social justice, restorative practices, culturally responsive teaching, and more.
Meet the Owner
Meet the Owner
Rheon Gibson is an inspirational school principal who resides in the Midwest. He has several degrees from Northern Illinois University, including Bachelor’s of Science degree in Sociology, Master’s Degree in School Counseling, and Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership.
With a background in social emotional learning and a passion for education, Rheon Gibson created The Dizz Wizz Series as a means to positively influence African-American students through self-reflection in literature. In addition, The Dizz Wizz Series focuses on important life lessons a young boy learns. This is inspired by Rheon’s father who guides him until he matured.
